Rules That Govern Agency Servicing
The facility agreement, bank controls and servicing exceptions are expressed as product rules.
A facility agreement arrives as prose spread across schedules, annexes and side letters.
Reviewed agreement terms become the structured operating record before the deal goes live.
Every module reads one structured source instead of re-reading the contract.
Agency teams configure similar KYC, notification and obligation settings on every deal.
Account Configuration defaults cascade into each new deal and stay editable by authorised roles.
Deal setup starts pre-populated, so deviations are deliberate rather than accidental.
Publishing terms, approving obligations and submitting cashflows all carry settlement risk.
Maker-checker is the default on consequential actions, not a reporting-time control.
A second authorised user approves before the state change takes effect.
Drawdowns are requested while conditions and covenant evidence may still be open.
Obligation state is evaluated at request time: hard blocks stop the request, soft warnings require acknowledgement.
Eligibility is visible before submission rather than discovered at approval.
Every lender funds its own share of an approved drawdown on the same value date.
A lender sees its allocation, deadline and settlement instructions, not the syndicate funding view.
Notices and Deal Site access are role-scoped by default across the platform.
Payment execution sits inside the bank’s controlled infrastructure.
LoanBook Agency validates, approves and generates payment advice; core banking executes the payment.
The platform boundary ends at an approved instruction.

- 04
Quality and delivery
Owned product testing and delivery decisions with QA, the CEO and Head of Engineering, resolving dependencies and ensuring the workflows operated as one platform.
